Meet Your Therapist

Natasha Pelletier, LCSW

After receiving my Master’s degree from the Silberman School of Social Work in 2018, I began working for Sanctuary for Families, a non-profit organization that helps survivors of gender-based violence receive a multitude of services, including access to therapy. I have spent the last five years working to help trauma survivors, both children and adults, understand the impact that generational trauma has on their relationship with the self and others.

I’ve been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), an intervention approach that helps folks understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect and impact how we view the world. Additionally, I’m trained in trauma-focused CBT, which tailors the same CBT approach to teens and their parents. These trainings can provide great tools in session, but it’s also important to note that what may work for one person, may not work for another due to a variety of reasons, race and culture being one of them. I take my time to understand the intersectionality of your identity and experiences so that you are safe and heard.

My promise to you is to provide a safe space to foster vulnerability in sessions. The trauma-informed lens that I approach each session with will make you feel taken care of, understood, and seen in a way that may feel both challenging and invigorating. My work is guided by the recognition that we are a byproduct of our lived experiences and oftentimes those experiences are caused by constructs out of our control. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or feeling unsure of where to start, there’s a place for you at MindSpace.
